As we build toward this unforgettable night, we’re thrilled to announce a new addition to our Gala Committee!🎉 Welcome, Nannette Ho-Covernton – Sponsorship Lead 🎉Nannette brings over 30 years of experience as a Sustainability Leader at Spartan Controls, where she’s driven strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and transformative community initiatives. Her leadership has shaped sustainability frameworks and earned her the 2013 President’s Award and recognition as a 2024 @APEGA Women in Engineering and Geoscience Champion.Off the clock, Nannette is equally inspiring.

From serving on Theatre Calgary’s Development Committee to mentoring athlete leaders with Classroom Champions, and co-organizing Skate for Kids for Alberta Children’s Hospital—her passion for youth, education, and sport shines through.

Nannette joins a dedicated Gala Committee chaired by Colin Patterson and René Amirault, alongside committed community leaders Angela Thompson, Michael Geddes, Jeremy Gackle, CFA, ICD.D and Patricia Jaworski, P.Eng., PMP, LSSBB, CMRP, CAMP, CAMA. Each member bringing their unique passion, experience, and drive to help make this event as impactful as the legacy we’re celebrating.In 2024, KidSport Calgary assisted 9,895 kids gain access to sport and in our 30th year, we expect that number to grow over 10,000 kids.
